		<description>That&#039;s a great idea, Ian.  I saw hot cross buns at the supermarket earlier and I always end up buying too many so this would be a great way to use them up.</description>

jam ..  then grate some dark chocolate so it falls in between the layers /

then soak in cream milk and eggs mixed with a little advakaat custard / which you can find a recipe for on the net. .. its easy ..

		<description>Yikes, I could give it a go but I don&#039;t think mine would be a patch on the stuff mum makes.  It&#039;s a good idea though.  Maybe give mum your stale bread for now (she is closer, after all!) and I&#039;ll get her recipe and give it a go for next time I see you.</description>

That is an important question, I was really unclear about that in the post actually so will amend.  Basically, I just mixed up some milk, cream and eggs and poured that over but any kind of custard (homemade or shop bought) would be fine I think.</description>
