To celebrate Fridays with Gordon, we’ve just received a bottle of Gordon’s gin and a set of glasses. It would be rude not to partake so Stephen mixed us a gin and tonic to celebrate the start of the weekend.
If you would like to receive the same*, then just leave us a comment telling us about your favourite way to spend the weekend. We’ll select a winner at random on Tuesday night, giving enough time to get the prize to you by next Friday.
*You need to be over 18 to enter.
You lucky things!
My absolute favourite way to spend the weekend is shopping ’til I drop, with frequent cake breaks. I’m terrible. 🙂
My favorite way to spend the weekend, well last weekend. Myself, my fiancee, and our two georgeous girls, (3 & 6) Started out as a day trip to Lgoland, followed by a road trip to Birmingham, an over night stay, and a tour of a factory, CADBURY WORLD! Delicious, and of course a 150 mile drive home, well you cant have the good with out the bad. But still we all enjoyed it.
My favourite way to spend the weekend is to go on a nice day out during the day – maybe walking somehwere, or to visit a National Trust property. Then in the evening either cook something that you wouldn’t make the effort for during the week, or cocktails and a nice meal out. Perfect!
My favourite way to spend the weekend in Autumn is down at the beach watching* my boyfriend kitesurfing.
* When I say watching I mean huddled in my car reading magazines and then running out at the last minute to give him a thumbs up…

my favourite way to spend the weekend is to go to the cinema, shop and go for a meal out on saturday and just relax on sunday and do nothing!
I enjoy drinking loads of proper beer ! One of my most enjoyable weekends this year was spending time with friends at a Beer Festival in the Kent Countryside. As well as drinking loads & loads we had a fabulous barbeque which was cooked by some right proper good cooks, one of which was the Wife. The weather was bad but the Bongo and its shelter saved the barbeque and kept us all dry. After great grub we spent the evening by the beer barrels sampling great beer and getting very drunk. As well as falling off chairs, seeing the Bat Wing, having lots of laughs and eating copious amounts of Pork Scratchings we ended the night dancing to Jungle book and camping in the countryside!
Therefore my favourite thing is spending time with family and friends whilst eating, drinking, partying, camping and of course the MAZDA BONGO!!!
Mmmmm, the weekend …
A little bit of blogging, a little bit of shopping, a little bit of sunshine (or a bit more if poss), some time with my husband and son, perhaps a nice pub meal on a Friday night with a glass or two of chilled white Rioja. A little bit of knitting, a cup of tea and good book for a while, 5 pm cocktails on Saturday (apple martini, anybody?), and a delicious dinner cooked by my husband on Saturday night. Sunday – meeting up with friends, going for a walk, more family time …. and a lovely roast dinner.
Oh, I do love the weekends ….
A great weekend is spent on the patio with friends enjoying a good meal, a bottle of wine or a cocktail. We laugh, we enjoy the evening, and are reminded that this is what makes life good.
A great weekend for me is started by a homemade pizza on Friday night followed by a camping trip with some mates to tackle some peaks in the Peak District then a BBQ. Perfect.
