Breaded Chicken

We went out for dinner last night (post to follow) and ate so much that neither of us have really been hungry today. That said, we needed to eat something but it had to be plain and reasonably light. Breaded chicken with savoy cabbage was just right.
This is essentially the same as this dish, except this time we omitted the cheese and herbs to keep up with the plain and light theme. Not the most exciting of dishes but it did what it was supposed to.

Yes indeed there are those times when we need just a little something and not full fare.

Breaded chicken is one of my favourite meals.. Served with greens like this or even better in a sandwich. Lovely and not a “parmo” in sight!

Sometimes you don’t want fuss…just something that fills the hole. It still looks delicious if I may say so… I’d probably add a little sauce -garlic butter or something because I’m a saucy kind of girl but…that is just my pref! 🙂 xxx
