Crunchy Pork Chops

This has become one of our favourite midweek meals; it’s quick, it tastes good and requires very little thought or planning. Tonight we served it with mashed potatoes and steamed greens, very much like last time. We used a different kind of chop (loin) this time which resulted in juicier meat.

    Every time I want “something delicious” for dinner but have no idea what to cook I check your site. You two do all the hard work of thinking for me and unlike cookbooks you mention any disasters so the recipes can be tweaked. Thank you from the bottom of my fridge!

    I think it’s important to be honest about the disasters, it helps us when we come back to try something again too.

  3. Agree with you about pork chops: for me, they’re the ultimate fast food. Salt and pepper, pan-fry in butter, and sprinkle some lemon and they’re delicious already.

    Your chops look gorgeous!
