Crunchy Pork Chops

Posted By Stephen

We first ate these at a friend’s house and really enjoyed them so decided to cook them ourselves. It’s a fairly straightforward recipe by Nigella who suggests eating them with garlic spinach and a tomato salad. We had them with mustard mashed potatoes and runner beans. The mustard in the mashed potatoes complimented the chops really well, the beans however were a bit tough.

These look so good! I love Nigella, you can always trust her recipes to deliver. And mustard mash, possibly my favourite food, perfect with pork.

I don’t think I managed to express in my post just how good they were actually, the contrast between the crunchy breadcrumbs and the tender pork was brilliant. And the flavouring worked very well.

This is the first time I’ve had any success with a Nigella recipe actually. I have Feast though so am going to re-visit it.

Yes they were really good, I’m sure we’ll have them again soon. A good thing to remember for those days when we just can’t think of something interesting to cook.
