Sardines on Toast

A quick lunch today of sardines on toast. Reminds me of being small as we often used to eat this for lunch on a Saturday. Yum.

Thats sooo universal thenas we used to at home on saturdays as well!! We did add fresh chilli to ours though 🙂
I was given this for my tea before a roaring fire with a big pot of tea, all through my childhood and I still prepare it regularly today. Apparently oily fish like sardines are very good for you so keep on eating them!
